$30 NanoPi M1 Plus Has a Smaller Footprint Than a Raspberry Pi

Príomhghnéithe

It’s tough to defeat the value offered with a Raspberry Pi$38.31 at Amazon.com. You have a very competent Linux Computer in a debit card-sized package. But there are several areas where it may be improved, go háirithe, the void of built-in memory space. That’s where the NanoPi M1 Plus from FriendlyElec really shines. It’s looking to contest with the Raspberry Pi by including built-in memory space. It’s also two-thirds the size and just costs $29.99.

The 64-by-60millimeter NanoPi M1 Plus makes use of an Allwinner H3 quad-core Cortex A7 processor chip operating at 1.2GHz. That’s backed up by a Mali 400MP2 GPU operating at 600Megahertz along with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. Space for storage could be extended using a micro SD card, but contrary to the Raspberry Pi, this single circuit board features 8GB of eMMC memory space as standard. That’s more than sufficient for an operating platform.

Chomh maith as sin, FriendlyElec Tá tacaíocht do rith Ubuntu MATE, ubuntu Core, and also Debian. There’s even a Gigabit Ethernet port, 802.11b / g / n Wi-Fi, an Infrared sensor, Bluetooth 4.0, micreafón, HDMI v1.4 built with support for up to 1080p image resolution output, 3 USB 2.0 calafoirt, Micro-USB for power, and power and reset keys. The 40-pin GPIO can be compatible with the Raspberry Pi’s GPIO.

ag $30 you get the board, cábla cumhachta, agus antenna. You will find there’s a selection of optional accessories to buy like a 5Mega pixel camera component, heatsink, GPS component, 3-ais compás digiteach, and a lot more suggesting FriendlyElec aims to hit the ground running against the established Raspberry Pi line-up.

It appears the NanoPi M1 Plus will unlikely overcome the Raspberry Pi’s dominance, but that is in no small part thanks to the Pi already having a well established ecosystem surrounding it. If all you want is a tiny single-board desktop computer, yet, the NanoPi is actually worth a glance.
